This post will play a key role in the delivery and development of evidenced-based therapies, clinical audit and research, supervision, consultation and training.

Our community service for severe eating disorders is expanding rapidly, following substantial new investment. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic professionals to join us in developing a world class service for the residents of Coventry and Warwickshire. The new service will significantly increase our capacity to provide timely assessment and treatment for patients and support for their carers.

We are keen to hear from applicants who are as excited as we are by this service development and the opportunity it provides to improve patient care, reduce the need for inpatient treatment and contribute to the development of innovative interventions. We welcome applications from experienced clinicians but are also keen to develop the skills and experience of staff who are new to eating disorders though training, supervision and the opportunity to work alongside our experienced multidisciplinary team.

The expansion of the service will provide you with an opportunity to shape its development and evaluate new ways of working in the field. You will be part of a well-established but expanding multidisciplinary team, consisting of psychologists, nurses, dietitians, occupational therapists, family therapists and psychiatrists. Our current team members have an international reputation for the psychological care of people with an eating disorder. Staff within the team have expertise in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Focal Psychodynamic Therapy. The development plan for the service includes a program of training, which will offer the opportunity to develop skills in a range of other therapeutic models.
