Job Details

As part of an improvement program Jersey’s Mental Health Services are looking to recruit to a Clinical/Counselling Psychology post, building on our psychological provision to the adult population of Jersey. We are looking for a qualified Psychologist with relevant experience who has an interest in advancing trauma informed practice across our community provision, to join with existing services. This post will sit within our Mental Health Care Group, as part of Jersey’s Health and Community Services. We provide multi disciplinary mental health services for the whole of Jersey, running a Talking Therapies service, a community mental health team, an Alcohol and Drug Team as well as our home treatment and liaison team, and our inpatient units. You will work with other psychologists and therapists, in a rare opportunity to join a service that is growing and developing. This presents a unique opportunity to be part of our work to develop an integrated and island wide approach to improving mental health, developing recovery and trauma informed ways of working. We currently support CBT, IPT, DBT, EMDR, CAT and Schema Therapy and would be interested in supporting your development.
