Job Details

An exciting opportunity to work in the beautiful Island of Jersey has arisen.

Jersey is the most southerly Island of the British Isles where Islanders enjoy a holiday feel during the summer and mild winters. Laced with beautiful beaches and enjoying a high standard of living, it provides a different way of living and working compared to the UK.

We are recruiting Clinical / Counselling Psychologists in an evolving Mental Health Care Group.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to help shape the mental health service in Jersey as well as provide therapeutic care for clients across a broad range of complex presentations.

These posts will be attractive to applicants with an interest in complex trauma and experience that matches that interest.

We are looking for a variety of candidates with at least 2 years’ experience post qualification, possibly with a background of involvement with secondary mental health/personality disorder services.

The successful applicants will have training in a selection of treatment modalities which may include EMDR/DBT/CAT/schema and other therapies with good evidence based outcomes for complex clients.

These posts will involve joint working with other mental health clinicians and our third sector stakeholders.

Benefits include a generous relocation package for overseas applicants and a competitive tax rates.

Team members relocated for a different life with professional development opportunities and more time to care for patients and a better work life balance. The benefit of Island life includes a much shorter commute to work and more time away from the work place in a safe environment with beautiful scenery.
