About the position
Collinson Grant provides advice to clients on which candidates to recruit and promote. Our solutions range from one-to-one assessments of potential directors to group assessment and development centres for graduates. The feedback offered to clients is both verbal and written, and always thorough, direct, and pragmatic.
We have a small team of psychologists, and we are searching for another full-time employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of our assessments business, along with delivering bespoke full day assessments. We believe this part of our business has potential that has not yet been exploited. The business development part of the role will require you to create and manage long term relationships with potential clients, and to develop relationships internally to cross sell into other service areas.
Along with business development, the position involves implementing established assessment processes and acting in the best interests of clients and the firm. Occasionally there will be coaching and broader consulting assignments. Most work is conducted at our Manchester office with occasional days in London or elsewhere.
About you
- You will need to be a Chartered (CPsychol) Organisational or Occupational Psychologist with substantial experience of assessment and development of managers and directors.
- It is vital that your approach is professional, practical and that it has been honed across numerous industrial sectors.
- As an employee you will be based at our Manchester office and should ideally live within a commutable distance of Manchester.
- You will need to have an appetite for travelling, as our clients expect you to work in other regions or countries for face-to-face assessments as required.
- You will need to be a natural relationship developer and have an understanding of account
management.
