Job type: Full-time / Part-time – minimum of 0.6 FTE.

Location: Hybrid role – Marylebone, London; or Beaconsfield; and home working.

Salary: £64,000pa to £72,000pa based on experience. Sessional contract also available.

Role Overview: Join our vibrant Psychology and Therapy Team at Cognacity, where you will play a pivotal role in providing mental health assessments and interventions to our diverse clients aged from 13 upwards. Cognacity provides mental health support for the full range of clinical presentations, including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, bipolar affective disorder, psychosis, and eating disorders. At Cognacity, we embrace the concept of mental health as a continuum, recognizing that everyone benefits from psychological support, even if they don't fit into a specific diagnosis. Our goal is to empower all our clients to thrive, regardless of their mental health status. Additionally, we specialize in supporting athletes and individuals navigating high-pressure working environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for Cognacity clients.

  • Deliver face to face and/or online therapy for a range of presentations referred to the psychology and therapy team.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology and licensed as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.

  • Full registration with the HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council).

  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience as a practitioner psychologist.

  • Ideally, extensive experience across a variety of settings and employing a range of therapeutic modalities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work alongside a diverse team of professionals.
