Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Position Overview:

I am currently seeking a clinical psychologist to work in Saudi for my previous employer, who I worked for as a Speech and Language Therapist. The family are based in Riyadh, a great city filled with historical landmarks and the perfect place if you enjoy eating out and shopping! The family are kind, welcoming and considerate. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating anxiety and OCD in young adults and will be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

This is not a continuous position, the frequency and length of each visit will be arranged between the employer and successful candidate, depending on the clients needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy sessions focusing on managing anxiety and OCD symptoms.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
• Monitor and document the young adult's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Offer support and guidance to the family to help them understand and manage the young adult’s condition.

Qualifications:

• Registered with the HCPC
• Proven experience in treating anxiety and OCD, particularly in young adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
