Full-time, Permanent 

Salary: £36,900 per annum 

Based at sportscotland Institute of Sport, Stirling, FK9 5PH

We are looking for a Sports Psychologist who will deliver Sports Psychology services to a range of sports working towards Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 as well as summer and winter Olympic Games. 

You will have significant post-graduate experience designing, implementing and evaluating sports psychology support to performance athletes, coaches and sports governing bodies.

In this role, you will support the integration and provision of Sports Psychology with other service disciplines in a technical lead capacity, therefore an ability to work effectively both independently and with a varied network of coaching and multidisciplinary support staff is essential. 

To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD or master’s degree with major study in the Sports Psychology and accredited with BASES and BPS and registered with the HCPC.

This vacancy is full-time with the day-to-day workload focused within the Scottish performance system therefore delivery will be a blend of home working and travel throughout the institute network. A full driving licence is essential, as is the ability to travel independently between sportscotland sites.
