The Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner will work within Barking & Dagenham Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service (IAPT) providing high volume low intensity interventions which will include cognitive behavioural theory and practice through the provision of 6 sessions of guided self-help by both face-face and telephone.
The successful candidate will hold university degree in a subject enabling the post holder to demonstrate psychological mindedness: for example, a degree in psychology, health or social sciences AND a qualification from a recognised, accredited, post graduate PWP training programme.
The successful candidate will also have experience of working with mental health service users in an IAPT service in the NHS or voluntary sector
