Exciting Opportunity for a Band 8A Senior Clinical Psychologist and Band 7 Clinical Psychologist in Chronic Pain
At BHRUT our first priority is the quality of care our patients receive. We are one of the largest University Hospitals, providing acute care for over 700,000 people across 2 main sites – Queen’s & King George Hospitals. We are a specialist Trauma centre and have close links to the HEMS services. We are also a major cancer centre and Neurosciences centre with high quality hyper acute stroke services.
The Trust seeks to appoint a Band 8A Senior Clinical Psychologist with and a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist an interest in Chronic Pain. This is a substantive post and applicants will be expected to have suitable experience in pain management.
The appointee will work with the existing Pain Consultants at BHRUT to develop Chronic Pain Services into a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service consistent with the strategic objectives of the Trust and Division and commensurate with our position as a major neurosciences and cancer centre. The successful candidate will participate in the Chronic Pain Multi-Disciplinary Meeting and support the newly appointed Clinical Nurse Specialists and Pain Physiotherapist.
This is a post for an ambitious, motivated team player and will involve designing and implementing a pain management programme and building a modern Pain Service.
