Residential Community Care Ltd is a family run business that has 30 year’s experience supporting adults with learning difficulties.
We are looking for a person with initiative and enthusiasm, with a suitable qualification in Psychology specialising in behaviour analysis, who can work in the context of adults with learning difficulties and autism to identify the challenges in their lives.
Working with the therapeutic team, the successful candidate will oversee the creating and updating of the care plans and risk assessments, develop new strategies, deliver training, work alongside and support staff and management in making decisions in the best interest of the clients, attend meetings and reviews with professionals and families and perform observations on the clients as and when required. In addition the applicant, through wider knowledge of psychology, will liaise with the managers to help understand the attitudes and behaviours of staff both at an individual and group level, in order to look at behaviours in the wider context to improve quality of life within our service.
Successful candidates will use a person-centred approach and support service users with activities both internal and external to the homes.
As you will be working within the homes of vulnerable adults who can exhibit challenging behaviour, you are required to attend specific training, which the company will provide.
The successful candidates will also need to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
