Brain Injury Support Worker/Therapy Assistant (Female*) Required in North London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a brain injury support worker/therapy assistant to contribute to the rehabilitation of a delightful 6-year old boy with a brain injury as a result of a road traffic accident. Your role will involve implementing therapy programmes (training given) and play-based activities to develop his communication skills, cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills and emotional regulation. You will be required to provide light domestic support and care for the siblings as required. You will be supervised by an experienced clinical psychologist and receive training from a speech and language therapist and occupational therapist.
- 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 2.30pm to 8.30pm
- Additional hours available during school holidays and weekends with prior notice.
Rate of Pay
- £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
Two excellent references and an enhanced DBS check will be pursued.
