Embedded CAMHS clinician role in Primary Schools and in Integrated Neighbourhood Working
We are seeking enthusiastic CAMHS Specialist/Highly Specialist Practitioners with experience of outreach work to help us with exciting developments. You will be part of a well-established team of embedded CAMHS clinicians in the Local Authority services and working with one of the newly established Integrated Neighbourhood Working (INW) locality teams.
The post holder will work with Primary Schools in two of the neighbourhood locality areas. You will be offering support for universal services staff (e.g. consultation, teaching and training) and direct clinical work with children, young people and families with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will work closely with the CAMHSs Front Door Team and the local Early Help team.
The post holder will be part of a large multi-disciplinary Child and Family Consultation Service (CAMHS) and will contribute to leading on the services aims of developing innovative and flexible approaches to community-focused work with children and families with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. The community served has a diverse population from a wide range of racial, ethnic, cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
The Child and Family Consultation Service is part of the CAMHS and Specialist Services Directorate in the East London NHS Foundation Trust. We have good links with Education, Local Authority services and voluntary sector organisations locally. There are CPD opportunities within the service and the Trust.
