Job Description

Solstice is the largest private mental health practice in Bermuda, with links to UK universities and a developing international arm. The Solstice Child and Adolescent Programme is an innovative and exciting research-led service, providing comprehensive evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents and families.

We are looking for a well-established senior Clinical Psychologist who is a highly motivated team player and thrives on the opportunity to be innovative and creative. The post-holder will be expected to bring knowledge and experience of delivering high quality CAMHS or equivalent services to children and families, excellent therapeutic skills, as well as relevant experience of service development, strategic partnership working, management and clinical supervision within an MDT context.

The successful applicant will provide senior clinical leadership, working closely with the Executive Team and will be expected to assume high-level management/administrative responsibilities within the company. Solstice is committed to research-led practice so the post-holder will be expected to conduct research that supports high-quality interventions in this field, and to lead innovations in both research and clinical practice.

The Child and Adolescent Programme Director will be expected to contribute to public relations, presentations and identified projects. The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in this small country of 64000 people is essential.  As Solstice is a private health care centre, the post-holder is required to create successful programs that generate revenue and meet the needs of the community.

At Solstice you’ll be part of a diverse, welcoming culture, with access to tailored learning and development programmes. You will be able to take advantage of flexible working options, a fantastic work-life balance, professional recognition and a high degree of autonomy. This is in addition to everything Bermuda has to offer – great weather, very low covid rates, minimal income tax, palm trees, pink sand beaches and turquoise sea.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 15th April 2021
