This post will be embedded within the new Psychological Therapies Service currently under development at the University of Edinburgh. It will provide an experienced Clinical Psychologist with the opportunity to be part an innovative development meeting the mental health needs of individuals across the lifespan. In the first two years there will be the opportunity to be part of shaping the culture and delivery of the new service. Based on campus and developed as an integral part of the School of Health in Social Science, the service will provide a unique opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide supervision, training, consultation and intervention in a research rich environment.

Salary: £40,792-£48,677 per annum.

The University of Edinburgh has a Market Pay Policy which takes grade equivalent NHS Agenda for Change salary banding into account. This post will be matched up to A4C Grade 8a. This applies to designated clinical psychology academic posts such as this one and candidates who are currently registered as practitioner psychologists (clinical or counselling).

The post is open ended and can be taken full time (35 hours) or part time and job share is also possible.
