Coram is the country’s oldest charity established in 1739. It has a long tradition of developing innovative services to benefit children who cannot live at home. Amongst the range of services offered are therapeutic based approaches to address the needs of vulnerable children including those in the process of or already adopted. Services are delivered to multiple local authorities and learning from promising practice is at the heart of what we do.
About the Role
The post holder will manage a multidisciplinary hub for post-adoption support and act as deputy to Coram’s Clinical Lead, supporting to oversee innovation in project work and support the process to ensure these are delivered safely, efficiently and effectively. The Coram group delivers a range of direct work to vulnerable children, young people and families and there will be the opportunity for clinical work with children alongside supervision and consultation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enterprising and experienced clinician to support a multi-disciplinary service for group, family and individual interventions and to provide consultation, training and supervision to therapists and the systems of support around children including social workers.
