Service: Options Autism & Learning Disabilities - Children

At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for c170 pupils, aged between 5-19 years old with the Secondary School supporting around c130 students. Located across two sites, we deploy of a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles

Working as a Clinical Lead & Consultant Clinical Psychologist or Specialist Educational Psychologist, this key position provides a systematic and high quality psychology service, working collaboratively with others to promote the psychological wellbeing, best interests and development of our children. In addition, this role supports and develops a high quality practice across Outcomes First group and contributes to the supervision and professional development of staff, research and dissemination of understanding, knowledge and good, evidence-based practice.

Skills required:

  • HCPC Registered
  • A member of British Psychology Society
  • Highly developed knowledge of the theory and practice of specialist, evidence based psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention to this specific client group.
  • Experience of representing clinical psychology or educational psychology within the context of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency treatment and care.
  • Experience of teaching, training and supervision/leading of other multi-disciplinary professionals and clinicians
