Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, Band 8a
Salary £40,028 to £48,034 p.a. pro rata
The Adult Psychology Service provides Secondary Care Psychological support to CMHT’s throughout Dorset, through individual psychological assessment, therapy interventions, groups and consultation, and also works closely with primary and tertiary care services. The service has recently been through re-organisation including expanding the range of therapies we offer and the menu of group programmes to CMHT clients.
We would like to invite applications to a number of posts for Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, some of which are fixed term and some permanent posts, in various locations throughout Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Psychology Service in which you will receive support from colleagues. A sharing of models and supervision is encouraged and there are excellent opportunities for on-going professional development through regular professional updates and training events within the organisation.
There are opportunities to develop consultancy and contribute to service development with an emphasis on the development of providing a range of psychological groups.
Fixed term posts:
7.5 hours per week, fixed term post for 12 months – based in Bournemouth & Christchurch Locality
26.25 hours per week, fixed term post (up to end October 2017) – Based in West Dorset South locality
22.5 hours per week, fixed term post for 10 months – based in Poole, Purbeck and Wimborne locality
22.5 hours per week, fixed term post for 12 months – based in West Dorset North Locality
Permanent posts:
7.5 hours per week, permanent – based in Poole, Purbeck & Wimborne Locality
13.5 hours per week, permanent – based in Bournemouth & Christchurch Locality
26.25 hours per week, permanent – based in West Dorset South Locality
