This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical practice and systemic thinking within Children and Family Services in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. We successfully launched and implemented a Focus on Practice initiative in 2015 and are now working with the Dfe as a Partner in Practice to continue to apply and embed systemic practice into the work we undertake supporting the continuous development of systemic thinking and evidenced based interventions in social care.

We have a selection of Clinical Practitioner vacancies for skilled practitioners with the necessary drive, enthusiasm, and flexibility to provide high quality clinical interventions in a social care setting. These posts provide exciting opportunities to demonstrate and develop clinical expertise across a variety of services, including Contact and Assessment, Child Protection and Looked After Children Services.

Hammersmith and Fulham is a dynamic London Borough with an excellent reputation for embracing innovation and maintaining a rigorous and appreciative stance in working with families and partner agencies. The clinical team has developed a strong profile in effective, collaborative practice contributing to positive outcomes for Children and Families with a variety of complex needs.

These posts are available to Qualified Systemic Psychotherapists and Clinical Psychologists. We welcome applications from candidates due to complete their training in 2018, along with experienced clinicians with a relevant knowledge of Children’s Social Care. For further details please contact Caroline Pipe, Head of Clinical Practice at or Kathleen Van de Vijver, Interim Joint Head of Clinical Practice at to arrange a conversation regarding this opportunity.
