We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Clinical / Counselling Psychologist or suitably experienced psychotherapist with a special interest in Complex Female Personality Disorder, Trauma & Dissociation. The work will be based within a specialist adult female inpatient setting working with a multidisciplinary team. The unit’s underpinning structure is relational & attachment based structured clinical management (SCM), further supported by the use of Emotions (integrative aspects of IPT, DBT, CBT), IPT Skills, Coping with Trauma Related Dissociation, Compassionate Mind CFT & Psychoeducation approaches
You will work individually with clients to achieve pre-admission assessments of suitability, specialist assessments and formulation on admission, support ongoing weekly case formulation meeting, be part of the provision of group psychological interventions and where appropriate focused time-limited 1-1 interventions. You will support the provision of the SCM approach on the unit, and be responsible for the co-ordination of the weekly staff skills training and CPD.
Weekly team supervision is provided on the unit and you will be supported in individual monthly supervision alongside any specific therapy supervision for ongoing accreditation purposes. The CPD and training available is extensive and will be provided to you as needed.
You will be an appropriately registered and experienced Clinical / Counselling Psychologist or Accredited Psychotherapist and must have experience of working with complex client groups and within an MDT. You must have the ability to provide supervision and training.
