Unseen is a fast moving, dynamic and growing organisation that works directly with survivors of trafficking and modern day slavery. With our central base in Bristol, we have projects that reach further afield across the South West.

We are starting an exciting new service for children and young people who have been trafficked and are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced psychologist who is registered with the HCPC and has a DClinPsych qualification to join our new team.

Applicants should have direct clinical experience with children and traumatised persons and experience of working in a therapeutic environment and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful applicant will be expected to support and enhance the psychological care of the young people within our service, working alongside the project team to provide guidance to Children’s workers and the team on the delivery of therapeutic interventions and how to develop and maintain a therapeutic house culture.

The home will provide a place in which a trafficked young person can live in a family home, experiencing domestic life in a shared and supportive environment whilst also benefiting from professional and enhanced support services offered by Unseen’s highly trained support team (please refer to the job pack for further information about this).

On-going training and supervision is provided. Full time staff receive 33 days holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays. Unseen has an organisation-wide opt-out pension scheme. This role is subject to a 6 month probation period.

The project is based in North Somerset.

Deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 24th July 2017

If successful, it is anticipated that you will need to be available to start from August 2017. It is hoped that the project will open in late summer (Subject to satisfactory references, DBS check and completion of induction).
