Employer: Chrysalis Associates Ltd
Working Hours: Part time (hours negotiable)

Chrysalis Associates are an independent multi-disciplinary therapeutic team and a regional centre of excellence in the assessment and treatment of developmental trauma and attachment difficulties in children. The team is led by two Clinical Psychologists and we are currently looking for another energetic and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our team.
This role involves undertaking detailed psychological assessments of children and young people’s complex needs, including assessments of memory, cognitive functioning and neurodiverse conditions, as well as trauma and attachment difficulties. We have offices based in York, Brighouse and Sheffield but as face-to-face assessment measures are completed by our team of Assistant Psychologists, this role could potentially be undertaken via remote working from anywhere in the UK.
We would also be interested in applications from Clinical Psychologists living more locally who would like to combine this assessment post with some face- to-face therapeutic work with children (using the models of Theraplay, DDP and EMDR), or with psychotherapy sessions with adults who have experienced childhood trauma (using DBT, CAT and/or EMDR)
We recognise that people from Black, Asian and other racial/ethnic groups that may be a minority within the UK are under-represented in our field, and would like to strongly invite individuals from these communities to apply for this post. This post would be supervised either by a cisgender female clinical psychologist who identifies as mixed race, British Nigerian, or by a cisgender female clinical psychologist who identifies as White British.
We are looking for candidates with:
- • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
- • Experience of administering and analysing psychometric assessment measures.
- • Experience of working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, in particular children living in foster or adoptive families or in residential care.
- • A good understanding of Attachment Theory.
- • Experience administering and analysing psychometric measures.
- • Excellent report-writing skills.
- • Good organisational skills, flexibility and autonomy.
- • Current UK driving licence and access to own car.

Candidates will be sent the case study and measures on Tuesday 17th August and will need to submit their reports by Monday 30th August.
