We have a brilliant opportunity for you to join a brand new team and help to develop a new service for people in the “transforming care” pathway with complex needs including Learning Disability, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, mental health needs, trauma and behaviours of concern.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the services our customers receive are consistent with a high quality Positive Behaviour Support provision. You will work with a wider team including a Clinical Registered Manager, Occupational Therapist and a team of Support Workers to ensure that high quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety and quality of life. You’ll lead on behavioural functional assessments and support customers and their families to transform lives and build independence.
You’ll be working within a fabulous team who together are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements. This is a brand new team so you will have the opportunity to grow and develop together. How brill is that? You’ll be supported by the wider New Model of Care Clinical Team who will give you loads guidance to help you be fab at your job. They come from all backgrounds including OT’s, nurses and wider social provision. There are nine of us in the team and we don’t just love to support our colleagues and customers, we’re there for each other too!

A bit about you
You’ll have experience of working with individuals with complex needs including learning disabilities, mental health and autistic spectrum disorder, offering high quality Positive Behaviour Support. You’ll hold relevant professional qualifications such as HCPC registered practitioner psychologist, BPS, Doctoral Degree or equivalent. You’ll have an eye for detail being able to analyse complex data and make expert judgements. You’ll really impress us with your ability to unleash the potential of others through offering clinical support and advice to upskill our support workers.
You must have be able to drive and have access to a car for work as you'll be required to travel and work throughout the county of Kent to support our customers.
An Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service is required for this role and will be paid for by us.
