ASSISTANT PSYCHOLOGIST: Health Grade Band 5


37 hours per week temporary contract until August 31st 2017

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our team at a time when the service is moving towards a more flexible and creative model of service delivery with a focus on wellbeing at its core. This development supports staff training opportunities, with the current focus on emotional wellbeing. 

We have very strong links with the Counselling Service, Behaviour Support and Education Welfare Services (in addition to other school-based services and CAMHS), with opportunities for joint work and training. The Service offers an attractive flexi and holiday package, to promote a positive work-life balance. 

We are seeking to recruit positive, forward thinking Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists to compliment and strengthen our existing team by undertaking assessments, delivering and monitoring early intervention and therapeutic programmes to promote psychological wellbeing for children, young people and their families.

Applicants for the Clinical Psychologist post must be professionally qualified and HCPC registered. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
