Based in Hampstead, this purpose-built Marie Curie hospice offers an innovative, creative and evidenced based approach to care. We pride ourselves on a close working relationship with local NHS palliative care services and the Marie Curie research unit based at UCL (University College London).

Marie Curie Hospice Hampstead are looking to recruit a dynamic and committed band 8a Psychologist for 4 sessions per week. The role will consist of a mix of direct and indirect clinical work across day therapies, outpatients and the in-patient unit. A key aspect of the role is to contribute a psychological perspective to the wider multi-disciplinary team including offering consultation, supervision around complex cases and delivering training.

This is an exciting opportunity to further develop the psychology provision within the hospice. The post will be embedded within the patient and family support team (PFST) and the post holder will be well supported to deliver a high quality psychology service and there will be opportunity for career development. The post holder will receive clinical supervision from a clinical psychologist and will be supported managerially by the manager of the PFST. We welcome applications from psychologists with a range of experience including those working in physical health, long term conditions, palliative care and older peoples’ settings.
