Working hours: part time  2-4 days, worked flexibly

Are you a Clinical Psychologist or Psychotherapist with experience in Eating Disorders, Anxiety and Mood Disorders? This is a unique and rare opportunity to work in a newly established  day-patient outpatient service providing a psychologically informed and holistic programme of care for Mood Disorders, Anxiety and Eating Disorders. There is opportunity to  work across the programmes which offers group and individual  therapy and  to extend your skills further into Complex Mental Health services.   You will be joining the team at an exciting time in our development.  Schoen Clinic Chelsea, which opens in March 2019, is part of the Schoen Clinic a family-run hospital group who have extensive expertise in the evidence-based treatment of eating disorders and complex mental health and have a proven record of treatment quality and excellence.  We treat patients from the age of 12 years and up, to help themselves in their recovery.

We are ideally looking for Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists with experience of Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Mood Disorders.  However, we would also accept applications from those with direct eating disorder experience who can demonstrate an interest in this clinical area, relevant transferable skills, and a willingness to learn on the job.  There will be opportunity for specialist training and clinical supervision to develop your knowledge and skills.  Our programmes are psychologically informed and holistic so the right candidate would demonstrate our commitment to a collaborative approach to clinical interventions.  The ability to form good therapeutic relationships is essential and the role requires the candidate to be a strong and consistent voice within the multi-disciplinary team.    

The roles will lead the comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, consultation and advice giving on the psychological care of patients to referrers, staff, external agencies and carers. The right candidate will be able to offer high quality therapeutic services, and demonstrate experience in working in a MDT, and be able to oversee the group programme with the MDT. You would also work with the  Service manager and Clinical lead to continuously improve services in line with evidence based practice.
