We seek to appoint a Clinical Psychology Research Associate/Fellow to join a funded project that aims to improve psychological intervention in neurodegenerative disorders.
The post is aimed at a clinical psychologist or British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) practitioner who wishes to pursue clinical research with a view towards forging a clinical academic career. The post would suit a psychology practitioner with an interest in psychological treatment, patient care and clinical trials, who is innovative, creative and enthusiastic about drawing on and expanding their clinical experiences and skills to best serve patients with Parkinson’s disease as well as Huntington’s disease.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique clinical research team and contribute to the development and application of psychological intervention in people living with these long term conditions.
You will have:
- Clinical experience in mental health/wellbeing
- Experience in treatment of anxiety disorders and/or depression
- An interest in psychological treatment, patient care and clinical trials
