Job Description

The appointment will be full time on the UCL Clinical Senior Lecturer (Consultant) Grade. The salary range will be £78,163 - £104,627 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health runs the national training programme for Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychology which currently incorporates two UCL MSc qualifications, two post-doctoral diplomas and a number of short CPD courses. The programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society as the training route for any UK Chartered Clinical or Educational Psychologist who intends to qualify as a specialist Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychologist.

We are now seeking a Clinical Senior Lecturer who will become Director of these established programmes and who will join an internationally acclaimed academic team to contribute to research and clinical activities in Cognitive Neurosciences.

Applicants must possess a DClinPsy, BPS DoN Practitioner Full Membership (PFMQ) or Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN) (Paediatric). The successful candidate will have experience of leading and directing a research team, including supervision of undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, training in research methodology gained through postdoctoral experience in high quality research organisations and experience of clinical and/or academic management and proven significant experience of teaching at postgraduate level.

Applicants will have a track record of publications in high quality peer-reviewed scientific and/or clinical journals and research interests that align with existing research strengths in the Programme. The ability to supervise and mentor junior colleagues in clinical and/or research work and participate in organisation of an academic unit is essential as it the ability to organise, manage and lead a team.
