Job Description

CTC is an Independent psychology practice and an Ofsted Registered Adoption Support Agency.  We have been established since 1988, and provide specialist assessment (including Forensic work), therapeutic intervention, training, consultancy and Adoption Support services.  The team approach is eclectic, with a strong focus on Psychodynamic, Developmental and Attachment/Trauma, including Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, EMDR, Compassion Focussed Therapy and CBT.

We are looking for a Clinical Service Manager who has significant clinical/counselling/social work experience and experience with adoption and/or fostering.  The role will include being the clinical lead, managing other clinical and counselling staff and service contracts.  The work of the service includes specialist assessment for court and other purposes, providing an Adoption Support Service to children and families, providing therapy and counselling across the age range and providing training, consultancy and research.

The work is exciting and challenging, and requires good organisational and time-management skills.  Our practice is based in Chester but serves a wide area, including the North West, Cumbria, the Midlands, Derbyshire and Wales, and some travel is therefore required. Ideally this is a full-time post, but significant part-time would be considered.

Our service is committed to the protection and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  The successful applicant will therefore be required to provide an Enhanced DBS, the cost of which will be met by CTC.
