We have a fantastic new opportunity for a registered Psychologist (part or full time) to join our growing Psychological Services team in our Eastbourne office, where you will be working closely with our Counsellor to understand client needs, and provide robust support from a clinical standpoint.
You will conduct telephonic psychological assessments, producing high quality, coherent reports, and recommend clinically appropriate interventions with clear rationale. Working as part of an established and multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with counsellors to understand the needs of the client.
You will be also responsible for:
Collecting information about presenting problems, with a thorough analysis of history and maintenance of problems, relevant contextual issues, risk and psychological history. You will conduct and record psychometric data, and produce clinical and auditing reports which can be used for internal or external purposes. Providing clinical consultancy to other clinicians and locums within our network, you will participate in regular supervision activities and work with other Psychologists, whilst participating in auditing, coaching, training and development of staff members. You will also actively participating in any service development activities within the business.
You will be a Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with demonstrable experience in this field, and you will hold a current and valid HCPC registration. You will have proven experience in conducting psychological assessments, with a commitment to delivering high quality client care.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team will be required, and familiarity of PMI and EAP would be a distinct advantage. In addition, it would be advantageous to have experience of delivering clinical training and supervising.
