As part of this commitment, we are developing our psychological therapies services that are part of the specialist adult mental health and inpatient teams in Oxfordshire. We are looking for enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologists who wish to make a difference to patients with long term mental health problems, providing evidence-based treatments across our communities and inpatient units.

Community and Inpatient Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Band 8A
If you have clinical and supervision experience within inpatient and community settings and are looking for a rewarding career, where you can make a real difference and change lives for the better, this crucial role is for you.
This role will involve liaison with other professions within our mental health services, including mental health nurses, occupational therapists, CBT therapists, assistant and trainee clinical psychologists, healthcare assistants and peer support workers, therefore communication and team-working skills are essential.
Community Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Band 7
We are pleased to be able to offer this role as a preceptorship for suitably experienced candidates and would welcome applications from trainee clinical psychologist due to qualify in September or from those who are recently qualified.
We would offer the post as a band 7 preceptorship until the necessary experience and competencies within an agreed timeframe are met, upon which the post would move to an 8a.
We offer CPD and training to support career progression, have excellent links with the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health that includes Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy and Oxford Institute for Clinical Psychology Training, which is hosted by the Trust. We actively encourage innovation and research with opportunities for collaborations with University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry and Department of Experimental Psychology. We also collaborate with Oxford Brookes University, Buckinghamshire New University and University of Bath.
