Consultant and / or Quadrant Lead for Psychology Services

Salary: Band 8c £59,090 - £71,243 per annum
Owing to the retirement of the current post holder, we are seeking an experienced, forward thinking senior Psychologist/s to work in the pivotal roles of Designated Quadrant lead for psychological therapies and Consultant Clinical Lead for Personality Disorders - both posts are offered at Band 8c and we welcome applications from individuals who wish to apply for either role or the entire full time positon.
This leadership post based in the South West Quadrant of Hertfordshire which incorporates the locality teams of Watford & Three Rivers and Hertsmere.
The Designated Quadrant Lead (18.75 hours -0.5 wte) You’ll be responsible for offering clinical and operational leadership to the Psychological Therapists based within the local adult community mental health services within the localities. The post holder will lead on the organisation and delivery of psychological services within this busy service and will join the local leadership team in working strategically in the development of community mental health services and in supporting a psychological approach within the MDT. The psychologists are embedded within the local community teams and the post holder will therefore work collaboratively with the local senior operational management, Medical Lead and other Quadrant Therapies Leads in providing quality services.
The Consultant Clinical Lead for Personality Disorders (18.75 hours -0.5 wte) The post is a Trust-wide position providing the Lead for Psychological therapies for our multidisciplinary, recovery-orientated services for individuals with Personality Disorders. These services are also embedded in the local services across the Trust. You’ll have advanced skills, experience and relevant qualifications in working with individuals with a personality disorder and in providing supervision to a range of professional in delivering this work.The post holder must have training and experience in delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and be accredited or working towards accreditation to provide quality supervision to a range of staff. We are currently in the process of developing a trust wide service improvement project of the Personality Disorder pathway and the appointed individual will help direct the strategy to deliver the programme.
SW Hertfordshire has good road and rail links into London and further afield and is also surrounded by scenic countryside. The psychology service in the Trust has strong links with the University of Hertfordshire Doctoral training courses and offers regular placements. The post(s) suit individuals who are dynamic and driven to work collaboratively to provide outstanding psychological therapies services, that are first and foremost focused on the needs of service users.
