Consultant Clinical Psychologist – £62,376 depending on experience and qualifications
Full or part-time, or compressed hours
This is a unique opportunity to develop and apply your evidence-based psychological expertise to meet the requirements of Government department clients.
You’ll provide inspirational leadership to a team of specialist behavioural psychologists, in a variety of fast-paced, high-value and exceptionally rewarding projects. Adapting your skills in a unique public sector context, you’ll ensure we conduct detailed, psychological assessments to inform management of risk, staff selection and staff welfare.
A highly experienced clinical psychologist, you’ve already had the opportunity to consolidate expert skills in a consultancy context and gained the managerial and supervisory experience to lead others to success. You’re able to work closely with multidisciplinary customers whose referrals will include: requests for individual and team psychological assessment, risk assessment and risk management advice; the development and facilitation of high-level training courses; together with a number of ad hoc projects and small-scale research.
Comfortable working autonomously, and confident making judgement calls, you have the interpersonal skills to lead junior team members and build good working relationships with colleagues. More specifically, you’ll be an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist with a 2:1 in Psychology (or conversion to Psychology via a Master’s degree). Ideally, you’ll have some experience in forensics, occupational psychology or behavioural science.
What you can expect
In return, you’ll enjoy working in a structured environment that offers extensive support and encourages professional development and peer review.
