Salary: Band 8c £61,777 - £72,597 pa
If you are an existing Consultant Clinical Psychologist or well-established senior clinical psychologist who is a highly motivated and dynamic individual, a team player and an exceptional leader with a sound knowledge of the complexity of Chronic Pain, then we’d love to hear from you.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing consultation and advice, you’ll provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention to adults with a range of chronic pain conditions on an individual and group basis.
The successful applicant will be an experienced leader and someone who continually strives for best practice and who can evaluate and develop services to meet patient need alongside balancing commissioning requirements. You’ll also possess experience of working with commissioners to ensure our chronic pain service has a sustainable and beneficial future for the Isle of Wight population.
The Isle of Wight is a place of natural beauty and has much to offer in the way of outdoor recreational and leisure pursuits. There are frequent Solent crossings from a choice of mainland ports including Lymington, Southampton, Portsmouth and Southsea, with journey times taking from as little as 10 minutes.
Whilst we are looking to recruit on a full-time permanent basis, we are happy to discuss other patterns of working.
