Kibble based in Paisley, Renfrewshire are currently recruiting for a Consultant Psychologist (7.5 hours per week) and Clinical Psychologists (37 hours per week) for our IVY project. We are open to considering flexible working for these roles such as part-time, job share, remote working, secondments and flexible hours.
IVY is a specialist psychological and social work service for young people with complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and who pose a risk to others. It offers risk assessment, consultation and management and direct intervention and psychological assessment. The service also extends this support to families.
By providing specialist, therapeutic support, the IVY project aims to ensure the young people and the professionals supporting them have access to the best advice, assessment and interventions addressing mental health, psychological and forensic risk and needs.
Consultant Psychologist £71,365 - £76,914 (pro rata)
This role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist who has previously worked with high risk child and adolescent populations to help lead the IVY project. The team includes social work, mental health workers and forensic practitioners.
You will be a senior leader in the service, helping to coordinate the work and providing supervision and guidance for the internal multi-disciplinary team. You will also provide some direct services to young people and those supporting them.
There will be opportunities to help lead evaluation into the service and wider research.
Clinics are currently delivered remotely. High levels of remote working will be considered and applications from candidates nationwide are welcome.
Clinical Psychologist £39,300 - £53,414
In this role you will work internally and externally providing a specialist applied psychology service to service users and you will contribute to the training and support of staff involved in the delivery of services to their service users.
Evaluation of this service is also critical therefore you will also contribute to service based research, audit, evaluation and development of the project.
Applicants for both roles must have a post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC. They must also be registered with the HCPC. They should have experience of working with a wide variety of service user groups across the whole life course.
