Priory Hospital Bristol is one of the UK's leading centres for the treatment of individuals, families and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions. We can offer fast access to treatment for a number of mental health concerns, including Addictions, Depression, Anxiety, Stress, and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) & Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
We are looking for an experienced counselling or clinical psychologist to work across our adult inpatient wards. You would be facilitating reflective practice, running psycho-education groups, sharing formulations and offering short-term 1:1 therapeutic input where appropriate. You would also form part of the multi-disciplinary team for the ward working alongside diverse medical and nursing teams.
In addition, there is also a new part time vacancy on our day-care therapy team. Supporting the private outpatient service with 1:1 psychology, working with weekly team formulations and a key part of the clinical risk management team for the service.
These are both excellent opportunities to demonstrate and grow your specialised skills as a psychologist in a challenging but supporting team environment.
