Would you like to work in a school for Specific Learning Difficulties as part of a transdisciplinary team of teachers, speech and language therapists (SALTs) and occupational therapists (OTs)? You would be the mental health lead for the school and have the opportunity to develop innovative strategies to address children’s mental health issues in consultation with children and young people, school staff and parents.  Assess children as part of a transdisciplinary team, working with therapists, teachers and parents to ensure that the school delivers what children and young people need.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our Assessment Clinic to ensure that children with Specific Learning Difficulties outside the school receive a first class assessment that will guide effective intervention in their own school.

Fairley House School is an independent day school for boys and girls with specific educational needs aged between 5 and 16. Established in 1981, it is located in central London and operates from two sites, which are 15 minutes’ walk apart. The school aims to transform the lives of its pupils by providing a rich and dynamic education.
