Help transform lives by joining our team.

A breakthrough can seem like the smallest thing, but it can make the world of difference to someone on the autism spectrum. We are looking for an Educational or Clinical Psychologist at Robert Ogden School in Thurnscoe, South Yorkshire. Robert Ogden School is one of the family of NAS schools. We cater for pupils from 5 – 19 years. You’ll be working with autistic adults, children and their families in a residential and school setting.

We offer day, weekly boarding and 52 week placements. The Psychology Service is an essential element of the School’s professional support team which strives to improve the educational, social, environmental and developmental experiences of our children.

We are seeking a Clinical or Educational Psychologist with a depth of experience and knowledge in autism and Transdisciplinary team based- approaches and someone who is also excited by the opportunity of working collaboratively with other professionals and in partnership with the young people themselves and their families, to provide a fully integrated and therapeutic approach to their education.  We need you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a Psychologist takes bravery, patience and commitment but working with autistic people gives so much more in return.

We offer a fantastic induction programme, continuing learning and development opportunities, regular one to ones, annual appraisals and support. As a Psychologist working in the NAS you will be part of a large group of over 50 psychologists and therapists working across the NAS schools and also in the NAS diagnostic services based in the internationally recognised Lorna Wing Centres. We are committed to supporting our staff in their personal development and professional supervision and CPD opportunities are provided through this network of specialist clinicians.

Along with a host of benefits – from shopping discounts and a competitive pension scheme. Your working hours will be 35 per week with 45 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
