We are founding a new social enterprise, with the aim of building emotional intelligence, resilience and critical thinking skills for students in schools.
In the past, it may have been sufficient for school students to simply learn facts or specific skills that can later be applied in the workplace. Times are changing fast and experts warn that advances in technology will make many traditional jobs obsolete. Modern jobs will require a desire for continuous learning, creativity, problem solving and challenge. Hence, developing emotional intelligence and deep critical thinking skills has perhaps never been more important.
The founder, Dan Stacey MBA, is a director at Discover the World Education, which has grown into one of the UK's leading school trip operators under his direction. Dan is using his extensive reach within the UK and British International Schools to launch the venture. We are looking for an experienced educational psychologist to commission or partner with, so to oversee course content and delivery.
If you are an enthusiastic psychologist looking to make a truly meaningful, positive, difference then please reach out with a CV and covering letter.
