Educational Psychologist

Location: Church Lawton School

Contract: Permanent, 21 Hours per week (Term Time).

Start Date: September 2019        

Salary:  FTE £40,201-48,500 (Pro Rata Actual Salary: £21,245 to £25,630) (NAS Grade 6, Business Leader Level 1, SP 1-8)

We are a forward thinking Autism Specific Specialist Free School seeking an Educational/ Clinical/ Practitioner Psychologist.

Supported by the National Autistic Society Academies Trust, we cater for up to 60 young people aged 4-19 with Autism and Asperger Syndrome

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the school’s continuing development where you will be working closely with our Transdisciplinary Team (TDT) and classroom based Staff. As a transdisciplinary team we strive to deliver best practice at all times to our students and are passionate about continued service and professional development

You will be actively involved in staff training and there will also be the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills through participation in team and wider NAS continuing professional development programmes and practice supervision with the NAS Psychology Lead.  

You will be expected to work largely on your own initiative and be confident in representing Educational Psychology within annual reviews and team meetings.  

You must hold a recognised Educational Psychology qualification and be registered with the HCPC.
