Are you looking for a change or keen to develop your career? Do you want to help shape a brand-new service?

It’s an exciting time to join us in Norfolk as we embark on a new approach to connect and engage with young people and support them to achieve the best possible outcomes in life. No wrong door is a pioneering programme established by North Yorkshire County Council. The approach, designed with young people in mind, will bring together a team of specialists to provide a range of specialist and wrap-around services.

This innovative approach is soon to be rolled out across Norfolk and we’re looking for qualified Clinical Psychologists (Life Coaches) to join our team at the very start of our journey. You may have expertise in the field to help shape and influence our brand-new service, or you may have recently qualified with a Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and looking to gain invaluable experience. The graduate career pathway is through a structured programme of training and development undertaken over a period of 18 months, professionally supported by the Life Coach.

You will undertake assessments, formulations (psychological understanding based on theory/research) and interventions, building trusting relationships with young people through intensive support. You will provide highly specialist psychological assessment of clients with highly complex conditions based on the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources. If you are applying for the graduate pathway, your level of responsibility and complexity of work will increase as your knowledge and skill increases. As such the level of supervision will reduce appropriately over the time period.

You will be joining a team ready for this exciting new challenge, and a residential service rated good by Ofsted, who are looking to make a real difference to young people who are within, or on the edge of the care system.

We can also offer you an excellent relocation package to support a move to beautiful Norfolk, covering the initial costs of commuting and moving, including legal and estate agent fees.
