Are you looking for a fresh challenge in a newly created role?

We are looking for an experienced Family Therapist to provide a therapeutic service to our young people and their families. You will be a friendly face, providing professional support at a highly specialist level to those experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties, ensuring that the safeguarding and the welfare and care of all is promoted.

This new position is a  full-time, term time only role for a  fixed term 3-year period.  In light of the potential impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on the young people in our care, we are also sourcing additional funds for this to be financed over a longer period.

You will have experience and knowledge of dealing with complex needs, supporting families by providing specialist psychological and therapeutic interventions, systemic assessments and contribute to the formulation and diagnosis within a group and one to one setting.

You will be part of a strong, caring, supportive and hardworking team of staff that has a strong emphasis on teamwork and we are committed to lifelong learning and development of all of our staff members.

Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a mixed sixth form. Ours is a lively and vibrant learning community situated in the heart of central London with all the opportunities and advantages of an inner-city school. You, like us, will share our belief in the highest standards of academic attainment in a comprehensive setting.
