Forensic Mental Health Practitioners – London Forensic Service

Salary: £29,700 + geographical allowance dependent on location

Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: London

The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

Our high profile Forensic Mental Health Practitioner Service works to identify and support people in contact with the criminal justice system who have mental health and other complex needs. We provide services to London Magistrates’ Courts, Crown Courts, Police Custody Suites and Probation Services; working in close collaboration with our partners in health and social care.

You’ll be a highly motivated and independent thinker with a professional qualification in a related area (e.g. mental health nurse, occupational therapist, chartered psychologist) and / or a relevant academic qualification (MSc level or equivalent). This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of the service and to build on your previous experience and skills in mental health.

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
