Forensic / Clinical Psychologist – Forensic CAMHS
Band SM1 ( NHS 8a)
Salary: Upwards of £41,098 depending on experience & excellent benefits
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Forensic or Clinical Psychologist to be part of the Forensic CAMHS service for the East Midlands.
East Midlands FCAMHS is a partnership between Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and St Andrew’s and is a new multi-disciplinary service offering a consultancy service for young people with forensic and complex needs within the East Midlands Area. East Midlands FCAMHS has developed in line with Future in Mind which is driving the current transformation in emotional health and wellbeing services.
Your role with us
You will be expected to provide highly specialist case consultation and formulation, assessment and intervention planning for children and young people referred to the service. The post holder will also be required to undertake some direct family and intervention work.
Referrals are accepted to the service from a wide range of mental health, criminal justice, and health professionals and therefore you will demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to provide consultation for complex and challenging young people, influenced by a range of theoretical approaches. There will also be the expectation that the post holder will provide psychological consultation to the team and be involved in delivering training and support to colleagues.
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and applications will be considered from Newly Qualified candidates with relevant experience.
