Job Description

Are you a creative and innovative Psychologist?  We are excited to invite applications for the post of Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist and Joint Clinical Lead of the Behaviour and Communication Support Service (BACSS).  We work with staff teams in Wandsworth care homes to support them in delivering excellent person centred care for their residents.  The service focuses on supporting staff with residents they find challenging and provides the opportunity to work flexibly and creatively with people living with severe Dementia and their systems.  It will also provide the opportunity for developing the post holder’s leadership, management and supervision skills.  You will be jointly leading the service with a Senior Nurse.  We are a closely knit multidisciplinary team who enjoy joint working based on biopsychosocial principles.  The service has won numerous awards including the service improvement award from the South London Membership Council and the National Positive Practice in Mental Health award.

You will be working for South West London and St Georges Mental Health Trust and providing senior psychological input across Older Peoples community mental health services.  We may be able to offer flexible working patterns to the right applicant.
