Older People's Mental Health (West Dorset)


37.5 hrs per week

Salary £47,092 to £58,217 p.a.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our service.

As part of the Pan Dorset Older People’s Clinical Psychology Service, you will work with other friendly, dedicated and forward thinking Clinical Psychologists to provide specialist psychological services for older people under the care of OPCMHTs and inpatient services in West Dorset.

You will work in collaboration with the Head of the Older People’s Clinical Psychology to contribute to driving forward the delivery of compassionate and high quality of care for older people with mental health difficulties and dementia.  You will also co-ordinate the Older People’s Clinical Psychology Team in West Dorset.

In addition to psychological therapy and neuropsychological assessment, the provision of consultation, staff training and supervision for multi-disciplinary colleagues are highly valued aspects of psychological input in older people’s services.
