Are you an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a background in Children’s Mental Health with a passion for the work and a positive attitude to meeting new challenges?

Would you be excited rather than daunted by taking a leading role in developing mental health services for Children and Young People in East Cornwall, joining a growing multi-disciplinary team and working with other senior psychologists and team managers to increase access to psychologically informed assessments and interventions?

We are looking for a Band 8b Clinical Psychologist to join our growing psychology team within Cornwall CAMHS and to supervise a group of Clinical Associate Psychologists and develop and deliver specialist Clinical Psychology Services to children. We value clinical expertise and have a genuine commitment to compassionate leadership, career development and continued learning.

The post involves offering assessment and intervention for our specialist ‘getting help’ and ‘getting more help’ pathways as well as consultation and support into our newly developed Early Help Network consultation meetings and risk support pathways. The post therefore offers a good balance between clinical work, supervision, consultation, leadership and service development. We are keen to support psychologists develop areas of specialist practice to support our most complex young people. Training and supervision in a range of interventions to deliver and support our NICE informed care pathways is supported and encouraged.

We would love to have an informal conversation with you about this posts and our services in beautiful Cornwall which is a fantastic place to live and work.
