We are delighted to offer this new role, joining the CFYP (under 25) service. This fantastic (and challenging!) opportunity has arisen for a proactive clinical leader to become the Lead Psychologist to shape the future service. You will be part of our senior leadership team joining our psychiatry and managerial leads to work together to further evolve the service.

We are looking for someone who has exceptional leadership skills, with a proven senior experience in leading large and diverse teams and services, to ensure our existing psychology and psychotherapy services continue to grow and providing professional leadership for psychology teams within CFYP services. The successful candidate will be responsible for professional psychological practice and quality to ensure excellence in patient experience and outcomes, whilst contributing to and leading on areas of clinical quality and practice across the workforce. The CAMHS green paper and future of children’s services in Norfolk will be a key part of your role, working with all of our local, regional and national stakeholders.

About CFYP:

The successful candidate will have experience of working and providing expert supervision and consultation in one of the clinical areas CFYP services is responsible for. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of a variety of models of consultation and have knowledge and experience of a number of different psychological and therapeutic modalities. The role will include the provision of professional supervision to senior psychological professions and clinical supervision within the successful candidate’s area of expertise. It is expected that the post holder will undertake a limited amount of clinical work in their specialty area.

The successful candidate will have a key role in developing and shaping the future of Children’s, young persons and family clinical services, maintaining a local, national and international knowledge of positive practice in Psychological Services across the clinical areas.
