£40,406 per annum full time equivalent (prorata to 42 hours)
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Counsellor. This is a varied and interesting post managing the counselling provision within the school and college with 12 hours per week hands-on counselling.
We are looking for someone who is capable of providing high quality counselling and support to children and young people experiencing a wide variety of emotional problems sometimes with limited verbal communication. The post holder will liaise with a variety of different staff members within our truly multi-disciplinary environment.
The successful candidate will possess a Diploma in Counselling and have BACP accreditation or UKCP registration. It is essential that you have clinical supervisory and have experience of working with children and disabilities.
