We are looking for an exceptional early career researcher to contribute to our research, impact and teaching activity in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
You should have a strong record of internationally excellent publications and research activity aligned to the research priorities of the Department, including addiction, appetite and obesity, clinical and cognitive neuroscience, forensic, investigative and conflict psychology, language development and an emerging focus on lifespan, health and wellbeing.
You will also contribute to teaching and supervision on undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes delivered in collaboration with the MoD. You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, a track record of publications in high quality journals and be able to demonstrate research independence, leadership and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a UK national who has resided in the UK for at least five years. Employment is subject to vetting by the National Security Vetting Service.
