The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Winchester is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Psychology to join the expanding team of academic staff in the Psychology Department. This is an exciting time to be joining the Department as we build on our successful student recruitment and growing research presence.
The Psychology Department currently offers an established portfolio of British Psychological Society accredited undergraduate programmes. In addition, we have an accredited MSc Forensic Psychology programme and we will be launching a new accredited MSc in Occupational Psychology (subject to recruitment) in September 2018. We have research strengths in the areas of Health, Work and Wellbeing; Childhood and Youth Psychology; Brain and Cognition; Culture, Identity and Politics; and Forensic and Investigative Psychology. We also have a number of PhD students engaged in these areas.
The post holder will participate fully in the Psychology Department’s range of teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate), research and knowledge exchange activities. We welcome strong applicants in any of the core areas of Psychology.
